Mechanical Engineer – NBS

• £65,000 per annum
• Hybrid – 4 days per week in the office
• Permanent position

We’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to deliver coordinated building services design alongside multidisciplinary teams. You’ll contribute to setting design strategy, supervise junior staff, and review documentation to ensure high standards are maintained.

Your job will be to:

• Lead mechanical building services design, including feasibility studies, site inspections, surveys, load calculations, and utility applications
• Work alongside multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors while leading small project teams and supporting junior staff
• Produce and review detailed designs and technical submissions, ensuring compliance with industry design guides, British Standards, and Building Regulations
