SCADA Engineer
Role Overview:
A dynamic and innovative company in the energy sector is seeking a skilled SCADA Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SCADA systems, focusing on the design, implementation, and maintenance of these systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement SCADA systems for monitoring and controlling electrical grids.
- Configure and maintain SCADA hardware and software components.
- Integrate SCADA systems with other industrial control systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SCADA systems to ensure uninterrupted operation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Conduct system testing and validation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users and clients.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to SCADA system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Proven experience in SCADA system design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of SCADA hardware and software, including PLCs, RTUs, HMI, and communication protocols.
- Experience with network design and cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in SCADA systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
